In a seven-chapter tenant criteria manual and design guidebook, Hollis devised an information hierarchy based on spatial districts and text categories, conceptualizing a new way to present complex technical information in a more clear, direct manner. These guidelines weave together the maritime traditions of the distinctive waterfront district and the whimsical style of the historic Pike Amusement Park to tell a story about the unique geography and communicate specific retail opportunities available to tenants. The brand story and regionally influenced themes are celebrated through an iconic identity with an extensive signage and wayfinding, environmental graphic design program that pays homage to history with a refreshingly modern twist.
