The scene at the W Hotel is an ever-evolving expression of San Diego’s sophisticated nightlife. From the international inspired cuisine in The Restaurant at the W San Diego, to the bottle service in the Living Room, to the warm sands of Beach, one is certain to find a spot to tantalize their senses. HollisBC was asked to create a press kit package as unique as the property. Utilizing a simple but effective laser-cut, metallic paper sleeve, hotel services could custom tailer the press kit packages with a series of cards featuring the property’s world class amenities.

    Maximum impact + low cost = smart business. Each W Hotel is part of the global brand, with distinctive architectural design that pays homage to regional locales. Our advertising work for W Hotel NYC still carries the panache and caché of the parent brand, as does San Diego, but this project was unique in it’s value-added objective to serve multiple uses seemlessly – from Press Kit to Sales Collateral and Event Marketing. Inserts had to swap out, remaining informative and integrated. Most importantly, HollisBC devised a design strategy that was frugally cost effective! A laser-cut silver wrap contains no printing and is sealed with a foil-stamped translucent band. Digitally printed insert cards have a touch of spot gloss varnish to ensure just the right amount of polish and sophistication.
