Located at the intersection of Union and Beech Streets in San Diego’s bustling Little Italy, Aperture is an urban condominium featuring 11 stories and 86 residences by CityMark Developers with interior design by Megan Bryan. Aperture embodies principles of functional, urban, and contemporary design. The naming inspiration also led to integrated sign design with photography-related connections to light and shadow and natural expression of materials to contrast the raw concrete building structure. An inverse day / night address sign changes from black in the daylight to white in the evening in addition to a steel grass conceptual art installation.
